When fighting infantry, some soldiers of Hypaspistae and Baktrion Agema switch to their second weapon (spear) without my command.
Is there a way to stop it?

No, except to give a new attack order using swords. The only way we can get them to charge using their spears is to have it this way. When they are knocked down, they unfortunately switch to spear.
