I'm really enjoying the new demo, but there is another difference that concerns me.
In STW, if you ctrl-click to have a unit change location, but keep its heading, and if the new location is very close to the current location, then your unit will shuffle over, without changing their actual heading. For example, a unit of spears is facing North. Ctrl-Click an inch to the left. The unit will move over, but never stop facing North.
In the demo, the whole unit will spin, then walk the few feet over, then spin back north. This takes a lot longer, exposes their flank, and disrupts your lines. Has anyone else noticed this?
Otherwise, I'm having a similar experience as when I first got the original Battle Trainer.... yum!

In STW, changing location keeping facing is Alt+click.
