I have been playing the Total War series for quite some time now. I have played all but RTW and its' expansions, which I have just purchased. I love modding, but I am slightly vexed as to how to successfully enable all the factions. I have checked the Scriptorium, but the link to the guide was a dead end. Any help would be most appreciated. I have RTW, BI, and Alexander.
Open the descr_strat.txt, which lies insde your data/world/maps/campaign/imperial_campaign folder. The first lines should read:
Just cut + paste the factions you want from the nonplayble and unlockable sections into the playable section. To avoid some bugs, you should probably leave rebels and the senate as they are. So the final code would look like that:Code:campaign imperial_campaign

Thanks! No special modding is required for the unplayable factions for vailla RTW?
No, you just put their names in the playable section and that's it. Rebels and senate are a whole different story though, I wouldn't recommend messing with them for now.
