questions about Economy in MTR

I've read that MTR will not only be about conquering new lands but also building strong empires (economically strong) will play a greater role. I'm just curious what does that mean.

Should we expect new economical buildings? Will it be available to choose trade routes (and only the ones who choose them well will be successful) in MTR?
Or will it be much harder to achieve conditions to upgrade cities?

One more question for creators of this mod - could you inform us about the names of all provinces and cities in MTR (when it is possible)?
