Re: Osama Bin Laden - dead?
As to Bin Laden and his escape from Tora Bora, I highly recommend "The Final Report: Osama's Escape". I saw it a few months ago and thought it was very insightful. I checked and it will be re-airing on National Geographic tomorrow at 12pm EST.
Re: Osama Bin Laden - dead?
There exists no foolproof way for us mere mortals of foolish citizenry to know the ultimate truth about this matter. It is at least a fishy case as usual.
With the available information -- to my knowledge -- there never had been a "Bin Laden who orchestrated aerial offensive activity gainst the Twin Towers" that were quickly reduced to rubble seemingly more likely to be caused by organized ground explosions nor do we know whether he perished or not, etc., etc.
To my knowledge, "Bin Laden" was an invention of the CIA and there have been certain conservatives who exercised great influence. Whatever the case: (1) Bin Laden possibly never existed; (2) he did exist and he did or did not organize attacks on the US; (3) CIA are suspicious; (4) US political influence has been great (and imperialistic); (5) blah blah blah, etc., etc., badabing badaboop.

Sooo, are you going to bogart that stuff you're smoking or are you going to share it with the rest of us?~
Re: Osama Bin Laden - dead?
He's too useful to be dead.
He's the bogeyman, used to scare children into staying quiet or he'll come and take them away.

Well, never heard that view on the matter before - but why do you doubt his existence? Something which is, in my view, one of the view things we are certain of concerning the man.
Oh, and on topic, I think he's dead.
:balloon2:
Re: Osama Bin Laden - dead?
Thing is, he is dead. Atleast to the CIA, Bush, and the FBI. So, whether physicallly dead or not - it is all but moot.
The idea that he would be more valuable to the alQuaeda cause (have no idea what their "doctrine" is - aside from kill everyone) has passed - he is insignificant. Except for the towers, that his involvement remains debatable for some, he would be nothing less than a footnote.
So, he is dead. Except as a name to generate emotion by the fear mongers.
Re: Osama Bin Laden - dead?
Not ah. He is under my bed and turns up when I shut the lights off.

The picture is actually a channeled message brought to us by a renowned medium.
Osama is indeed dead, and this is his afterlife.
He's discovered that the 72 virgins thing was a clever ruse - actually he's condemned to spending eternity as George's :daisy: forever taking pork one way or the other.
You see, there is a God, just not the one OBL thought he signed up for. :2thumbsup:

I am no psychic able to know everything, neither are most other people. We just heed the mainstream news on TV, read articles, and discuss things as we see fit, etc., which is not always a most secure way in ascertaining truth.
Regard all the pictures and minimal footage available and all of the confusing rubbish and chaos whereof we hardly know it true from our seats afront our TVs heeding news that is most likely influenced in some way we do not know of. Can we as mere citizens be certain he existed/exists? If yes, can we be certain he perished or not? The only true answer to that is no.
And Kafir makes a reasonable point by the way.

I wouldn't want 72 virgins. It ain't much fun at all, this hurts that hurts. Blabalblee blablabaa :help:
Re: Osama Bin Laden - dead?
hmmm... I wonder if after you penetrate all of your 72 virgins if you get 72 new ones, or you have to make 72 commitments to 'wash the dishes' and 'Get a Job'... I mean I know you still wouldn't be hurting in the sex life department, but ya know 'The Spirit is willing, but the flesh is spongy and bruised' comes to mind.

I agree: I think they'd have far more success if they made it 72 experienced, incredibly nasty nymphomaniacs. I might even consider strapping on a bomb belt and taking up the cause of jihad myself if that were the case.

Apparently no one has read the fine print on this "72 virgins" guarantee. These are the first nights installment of the one and only original 72 virgins, no substitutions permitted. Get busy Casanova, your harem awaits you.
How you like me now, eh?
Re: Osama Bin Laden - dead?
Who knows if he's dead or not. But make no mistake about it, Saddam was the scapegoat for OBL.
Bush would be whooping it up like it's the end of the world if they ever caught or killed OBL. They pay no attention to OBL merely because they can't/couldn't catch or kill him him, not because they don't desperately want to do so.
Anyhow OBL is it not irrelevant. He accomplished his desired goal of drawing the USA into never-ending wars vs. Muslims; wars which will keep OBL relevant forever.
Re: Osama Bin Laden - dead?
Yeah, too bad they spend more time killing fellow Muslims than the evil western infidels. An unforeseen little miscalculation in the grand plan.
Re: Osama Bin Laden - dead?
I've always felt sorry for the islamic women. Imagine dying going to heaven, only to get 72 virgin guys. That can't be much fun.

Not really, as their goal all along has been to get the west out of the middle east so they could re-establish the Caliphate. The Caliphate in the Muslim territories is the main goal, driving the infidels out of there so they could have their war undisturbed was the preliminary. That's why secularists like Saddam detested Bin Laden and his followers so, because they knew they were the main targets.
