Custom Trait

I am sorry if this is in the wrong place but i don't know where else to post this.

I love playing as the Byzantines and I am not a realism player. I created a custom trait and edited the vnv file and edited the buildings file that governs what units can be recruited by what buildings. Is there a way to make it so the vanilla version of the game uses my trait, vnv and "export_descr_buildings.txt" files?

Perhaps someone can lead me to a working mod that increases the capabilities of the Byzantines that I could perhaps just edit a bit?

Either way would be fine with me. Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

In case my message was clear, which i don't think it was seeing as I am confused and i wrote it lol...

I just want to know if there is a way to make the standard game load a few files I have edited?

Sorry about the confusion. I was tired and not thinking properly.

...are you saying that you've editted these files and they are NOT showing up in the game? If you edit a descr_buildings file or a trait file or anything like that, the changes SHOULD show up in a game. If you mean to say that you've edited them in a seperate mod, and you want them to take effect in the vanilla game, then you would just drag those files over to where ever they belong in the vanilla directory. Other than that I'm not sure what you could mean.
