Well thanks to Xprime the vanilla Eastern generals are been replaced by awesome looking new ones the weapon issue is a Rome bug
It's indeed a vanilla bug. Nothing to do with EB. I have been told that this happens to the officers (including generals) of missile units who have expended their missiles, but I haven't tested it myself.
The general/captain feels jealous that his men are throwing spears and decides to join in by throwing his sword. :clown:
