When I mod the Roman unit cards, they never show up in game (same with the battle GUI). Now I've heard that I have to re-pak the modded files for it to work, but I don't even use the pak files in the first place (renamed them). EVERY other cultural group works without re-paking so how do I get these :furious3: Romans to work (and if I do have to re-pak them, how do I do it)?
if you really want to try re-packing the re-packer comes with vercengetorix's unpacker... and does come with some instructions.

and a new UI etc for Romans seems to work fine from a mod-folder, so I'd advise trying that first! (I only tested strat GUI and portraits but principle should be same if it will pick up those)
