Do you think that CA will use Eras again like in MTW? If I'm not mistaken it was said that America would be one of the factions, if America is a playable faction. I'm not quite sure it is.

To make it easy, yes. It will attract more players as well. I'm not seeing any reason to not do it.

We were dissapointed.
Same goes for Glorious Achievements instead of simply blitzkrieg the whole map to conquer 50 provinces.
There are a few things CA never listened to their fanbase.
I'm also seeing no reason why this is so?
Perhaps - as it seems - they activley watching the threads it gives us some hope.
Plus we know about it early, and it's a new engine.
But they started work on it as soon as they finished RTW, i.e. it started development at the same time as M2TW. I expect many decisions have already been made and are set in stone at this point.Quote:

I know something like this from around 1500 to the 1860s would be a real blast and need some eras in there.
Wouldn't you love to send Morgan's Priviteers to Pannama and loot it...:laugh4:
Clearly a Napoleonic sequal would be great. I wonder how they'd handle skirmishers...Quote:

I realy can't see exansions though. All suggested dates are already covered. I say, if they have a expansioin, it would proabably have the Thirty Years War, plus a extended time date to 1860 for Crimea, etc.
Well, I could see a Napoleonic expansion with more Napoleonic units added (I guess the Napoleonic period units won't be the focus of the unit rooster in vanilla E:TW), covering 1789 to 1815, with 1 month = 1 turn :2thumbsup:
But honestly, what could they do? A lot of the campaign would force you to do stuff, like play Trafalgar, or Waterloo or Austerlitz just to get it Napoleonic, and by then you could play those battles originally with original game. Lol, waste of time making that one I say.
But would it generate revenue?
That is the question.
