This is the final list for the first release:

- Kingdom of Croatia

- Pisa/Marquisate of Tuscany
- Papal States
- Lombard Cities
- Sicilian Emirates
- Byzantine Empire
- Zirids
- Normans
- Spoleto

Candidates to consider afterwards will include:
- Savoie
- House of Hohenstaufen
- House of Babenberg
- Hungary

Further suggestions can be made for other factions, but they definitely won't make it into the first release.

Please note that the faction names may not be final. If you have propositions for titles, we'll be happy to hear them

A small amendment had to be made here for a faction that was planned from the start but not added to the list:

Spoleto

So Ireland was dropped? Will they be included as a rebel / emergent faction?

I'll be sure to include them once you bring me proof of an Irish invasion in Italy :inquisitive:

This faction list is for Italia Invicta, Anno Domini is unfortunately on hold for now.
