In the next version of EB is Saba finished?
Short answer: No.
Slightly longer answer: There are lots of things we'd like to add to all aspects of the game even after the next version. How much will be done before migrating to EB2 depends though.
Slightly longer question in response to evasive longer answer: roughly how complete will the saba faction be, particuarly in regards to units, in comparision with other factions (i.e. The Romani or AS) in the next build?
Far. far behind. But far more playable than at the moment.Quote:

The only thing they lack are some heavy units.
Things are getting a lot better a lot more quickly now though. Nothing but awesome stuff going on for them behind closed doors right now, but it does remain to be seen how much of it gets in our next release.
Would a huge donation for the servers make you guys open your mouths to me at least in secrecy about whats simmering on the stove ?
Cauze liek I got lots of money from the brownie sales . 100% Colombian spiff is a selling point .
Simply put, it looks good. Stefan, one of our skinners, is a machine and has turned around two factions (one of which is the Germanics, which has been discussed in a few threads in the public forum) in only a few weeks.
excellent .
EB is like my thesis. It's never finished, I just keep working on it with no end in sight. So, an incomplete Saba is almost given, in my opinion, especially since it is such a fringe faction.
Mind you, I'm not complaining.
The problem with them is not to finish them, because informations on ancient arab warfare are quite numerous - but to make them balanced, considering the fact that historically speaking, they had no heavy units (they did not even need them in the desertes).Quote:

Well, why not give them access to Greek/whatever units if they invade the right provinces?
I think the correct answer would be that Saba never fought against greek units, so they should have little to no knowledge about their fighting styles. I know they get some pretty sweet regionals eastern Africa, though.
Yeah but in EB the first ones you got to fight against are the hellenic Seleucids and the hellenic Ptolemies.
