I don't know but I think it has something to do with how long you've been posting here.
Go to UserCP --> Group Memberships and click the little thingy under "Backroom" and you should be able to see it.
But, as the saying goes:
"Abandon hope all ye who enter....."

It can get a little contentious sometimes, but generally speaking, its a decent bunch back there. You'll do fine.
