problem with patch 1.3

I recently bought the expansion pack for M2TW which included the 2 latest patches.
During installation patch 1.2 was installed properly while 1.3 is not.More specifically while updating pack 0 it stops, saying invalid file path update cannot continue.
Moreover when playing the expansion and enetering a battle the game crashes sometimes.
Is there a connection between the two problems??PLease Help!!!!
