Ok, ladies and gentlemen
Well, in those last days I've been posting a few pics and telling countless people about this girl I really like.
Well, now I confronted her in a surprise attack on ICQ (she said I'm looking good and am intelligent, what more could I want? I answered "you" :laugh4: ) and turns out that she is not interested and older than at least I thought. Well, she's 26 and likes me as a good friend, she also stayed cool and we are right now still having a nice chat.
Yeah, surprisingly even I am quite happy because my main objective was keeping her as a close friend and that seems to be achieved, now that there are no secrets anymore I can happily live on and wait for the next lovely girl. Well, her girlfriend will get me a new modern haircut she said so I can get one easier. :laugh4:
Ah well, thanks to all orgahs who have listened to my endless analysis, it was a lot of fun nonetheless and well, a good friend is better than no friend at all.:2thumbsup:
edit: to make my position more clear I just thought of this great, Husar-worthy equation while in the chat:
you know, there may be no cherry on the cake, but I still have the cake

Re: Ok, ladies and gentlemen
Hey baby, if you're happy, we're happy. ~:smoking:
-
Re: Ok, ladies and gentlemen
I say if you can't take a chomp out of the cake, fling it at the wall. But if you're happy we're all happy for ya, Husar. I think half the battle's been won here, tho. You gave it a shot, and most importantly, you didn't act desperate or shamefully, which is the most sure fire way to lose all leverage with women in general. I was worried you might take it too hard if things went south with your Fräulein, but it turns out things didn't really go south at all, and you acted in quite a manly fashion.
:2thumbsup:
Get some younger gals. You can pretty much just wear a shirt saying, 'hey, I'm five years older than you' and you'll have them falling over you. Worked when I was around 20, anyway.

Re: Ok, ladies and gentlemen
It's interesting how it turned out Husar. Plenty more out there to choose from. :2thumbsup:

You had 15 year old girls falling over you?

Re: Ok, ladies and gentlemen
Too bad, Husar. At least you aren't getting all wound up over it :)

I think Prole isn't telling us something...do tell, Prole.

Re: Ok, ladies and gentlemen
Well better result then the jealous boyfriend coming through your door with axe, Husar?~;) Now back to hunting my friend, there are places to see and women to meet.:smash:

So true

Yeah, though I was more worried of it being a chainsaw instead of an axe, my cooking pan can block axes fine I hope but chainsaws worry me a bit. :laugh4:
Concerning younger gals, well, meh, they're usually too...young for me. I actually thought she was a young gal I'm interested in for once but turned out she was just about as old as the other girls I'm usually interested in but I still think she doesn't look like 26.:inquisitive:
And I'm talking about character here, 18 and 20 year-olds can look very nice, but apparently they(or those I came across so far) don't have the character traits I'm looking for.

Re: Ok, ladies and gentlemen
How old are you Husar?
Women really do tend to go out with taller and older and richer guys... most of the mixed asian couples I have seen are European guy with Asian girl... while the reverse happens I noticed that virtually every time it is tall Asian guy with a short European girl.
One thing to note, women find guys who have other women interested in them more attractive... the very act of talking to another women is a drawcard... okay when you are single... rather debilitating when you are not.

I was unaware you were actively hunting, Husar.

With that machine he is slow, bulky, and probably maneuvering in space unfit for combat efficiency while you are fast being barehanded. Dodge his attacks and choke the son of a... from behind. Make sure you disable his use of the chainsaw, incapacitate him quickly. In general: think fast, act fast, control. Use your surroundings well. Trust me: I've had someone come at me with a chainsaw before. Really, I'm not lying! :laugh4:

Character? Hah!
Let me tell you something and remember this wisdom, this rule, I am about to provide for free: you must not be the hunter, but you must be the hunted.

We're talking about cake, not meat. ~;)
Being a baker I tend to hunt Elephants with a BBgun which basically means I could probably wait for ages until I score a lethal hit.:sweatdrop:
Now if I were shooting at chicks or birds, my BB gun would be more deadly, but those don't have enough flesh for me, I mean they can't decorate my cake.:dizzy2:

Ofcourse you need the right bate for the right game. Also there is no point on fishing on empty waters or hunting in a empty forest.~;)

Exactly, it's just that unless you know someone who hunted there before you can hardly tell whether the forest is empty or not. I think I just found out. :laugh4:
It's still a nice forest though, good for a picknick for example.
And I also found some unknown species that I might have to explore a bit, maybe they taste good in a cake, maybe not.
At least I'm not on a witch hunt.:sweatdrop:
-
Re: Ok, ladies and gentlemen
But how do you know, you are not on a witch hunt? I have heard from wise men, that it takes a long series of test´s to unveil a witch.:study:
-
Re: Ok, ladies and gentlemen
That's what they want you to believe, I've been on a witch hunt before, took me half a year to recover but the witch didn't get away without a scratch either I hope.
You can never be 100% sure but then you can never be 100% sure about anything in life, can you? It's what makes life and hunting interesting, sometimes you hit a bear and it will attack you vigorously.
For now I have to catch an iron horse and travel to another forest.:beam:

Alright, now cut the metaphors and such. Just make sure you are not in a vulnerable position against them.

Meh. I prefer crawling on all fours trough a nice bush, looking for that perfect redberry, followed by a nice dive up some slippery stream...
But if it works for you, then I'm happy for you.
Me, I want either friendship, or I want more from a girl. I don't mean that in a conservative kind of way, but for reasons of sanity and self-preservation.
What I absolutely try to avoid, is becoming one of those guys who's 'friends' with a girl whom he is secretly madly in love with. You see them hanging around pretty girls all the time, sticking around for years, humiliating themselves because everybody knows it except for the girl herself. Typically, the girl will call them up in the middle of the night with tales of yet another complete jerk she's been having a disastrous adventures with, 'and thanks for being such a good listener and I really appreciate your friendship'.
I've done it once too, but luckily regained my sense of self-esteem and sensibility after a few months and just faced up to the reality that I would never get her.
(Not saying you two are like this, Husar. Just sharing stuff)

Re: Ok, ladies and gentlemen
I know what you mean Louis.
Maybe I have a different way of feeling because becoming good friends is sort of a necessity for me, without it, I don't want more. For me it's not either this or that but first this then that.
And I haven't had any girl call me in the middle of the night ever.
But thanks for sharing your stuff.:2thumbsup:

Lads, lads. Please. You turn off your phone during the night. And don't give women your house number! They might call you when you're entertaining other women!:beam:
Youngsters! Only family and people you actually want to call you if something happens should ever get your house number. That does sometimes include people you sleep with, but not necessarily.

Re: Ok, ladies and gentlemen
DAMN!!!!
Another plan in the toilett. Back to the drawing board Husar.
And what is up with this 26 is old crap? She is only 4 years older than you Hus.
When I married my wife she was 24 and I was 27... hmm ... Ok, I have no point here.
BTW: It is not over until the fat lady ... *cough*
If you are comfortable being her friend, be her friend. Go out to the discos with her and have fun. You never know, the one that will make you forget about this one could be watching you dance on that pole stand. It has happened to me once or twice. Somehow you become interesting when being in the spotlight like that. Get that haircut, work on your tan and be crazy at the disco. It could be this recipe is too old nowadays, but it worked magic in the 90's.
