Hi K COSSACK,
Simply click here, enter your password, and change your username to something more preferable. Sadly, this feature is only open to Members and above, so Junior Members cannot access it until their promotion.
Hope this helps, good luck, cheers!
Re: The Name Change Thread
It would help if you edited your Custom User Title to provide name change information. Go to User CP, click Edit Profile, and there it is.
I changed my name from ZainDustin to Zain a long time ago. I wonder if anyone remembers that.

Re: The Name Change Thread
I'm lucky - don't need anything here to change... But in one forum I did 3 times:dizzy:
Re: The Name Change Thread

He got it by randomly choosing two names in the EB Greek list. He got Omanes Alexandropolites, and that was that. At least, that's how I remember him saying it.

It was worse before: "Omanes Alexandropolites the Idiot" I recall. And I think he changed it after a member insulted his intelligence and helpfulness.

Not quite Warmaster - a certain member asked me to remove it's ending. This request was related to another member's insults, but I wasn't really affected by them myself - I have the odd habit of chuckling at personal insults when they are flung in my direction.

Re: The Name Change Thread
I bet them mods have their own little topic where they keep track of all name changes.
You are being watched. Oh yes. :policeman:
Re: The Name Change Thread
I got my name, Lucius Julius, from a Roman General of the Julii faction in Rome: Total War. You know, the guy who becomes Emperor after Flavius Julius dies. He went on to become one of my best generals, and conquered Illyria, Dalmatia, Noricum, and all of Gallia (Gaul). Thats my story. :)
Live long and prosper.
-Lucius Julius
Re: The Name Change Thread
Hm, in my campaigns he always sits in Arretium and gain gov-skills...)
Re: The Name Change Thread
Same here, while I take my faction leader (Flavius Julius, I think the name is) to conquer Northern Italy, Gaul, and begin attacking Spain.
Re: The Name Change Thread
...Then he dies leaving you in a right pickle
Might go and change my name.
Re: The Name Change Thread
Well I got my name when I saw a dead skunk outside my window being rolled over by a truck :laugh4:

I'm not quite sure, but I don't think the surname "Alexandrapolites" is in the more recent (0.8x and 1.x) database. The name came from 0.74, which I played for about a fortnight prior to the release of 0.8. I'm not quite sure if Omanes still exists either, but I think I have seen that name occur in the more recent releases.
