Starting Advise Needed (any bug fixes?)
I have decided to take the plunge and am just going out to get a DVD copy of Kingdoms,
I intend to uninstall Medieval II, reinstall, and then install Kingdoms.
I have read somewhere that the 1.02 patch is automatically installed with Kingdoms. Is this correct?
Whilst re-installing this game can anyone advise me what (if any) changes / bug fixes are worth doing before starting my first campaign.
e.g.
Do castles still have a problem with free upkeep slots?
Do roads give the correct trade bonus?
So if you know of a Kingdom problem that someone has fixed your comments will be appreciated.
Re: Starting Advise Needed (any bug fixes?)
U need to install patch 1.02 before installing Kingdoms as the expansion installs 1.03. At least, that's how it worked for me.
As for trade bonus, i can't tell you, being mainly interested by warfare in TW :2thumbsup:

There are almost no bugfixes in Kingdoms. Just read the readme file on the DVD.

Not true, Kingdoms will update the game for you. IIRC it installs the 1.02 patch first, then the 1.03 patch and then the different new campaigns.
So have a book ready or something as it will take some time... :laugh4:
