I just thought this might be interesting to some. I have edited the MTW file where now you can built Crusade units as part of your regular army. I uploader the file at Totalwar.org/MTW Files/ it is under Stat and the file is call Medieval_Plunder2.
What have been updated?
1.)Gendarm are now available to all catholic factions, no longer are they exclusive to French, Spanish and the Italian.
2.)You can now buit Crusade units. This is a list of all the crusade units name and the building require to built them:
a.)Hospitaller Foot Knight (Church, Master Swordsmith, Master Armourer)
b.)Order Foot Knight (Church, Swordsmith)
c.)Knight Templar (Cathedral, Master Horse Breeder, Master Armourer)
d.)Teutonic knight (Baronial Estates, Master Armourer, Master Horse Breeder)
e.)Teutonic Sergeants (Baronial Castle, Horse Breeder Guild, Armourer Guild)

sipahi, Ottoman Sipahi, Khwarazmian, Armenian Heavy calvery, Turcoman areall available for the Turkish empire at the
Early period.
29.)Khwarazmian, Ghuulam Calvery, Bedovia Camel warriors, Mamluk Calvery, sahara Calvery, Mamluk Horse archers,
Turcopules are added to the Egyptian in the Early period.
30.)The Almonhad faction also had been upgraded, can't remember what they were.
31.)**Hospitaller Foot knights, order foot soldiers, knight hospitaller are added to all catholic factions**
You need to begin a crusade to have access for these units. You can also find them in custom battle.
32.)**Swiss halberdiers, swiss pikemen and Swiss Armoured Pikemen will only be available with Switzerland under your
occupation. They will no longer be available until you conquer Switzerland. Don't worry, you will still have regular
Pikeman, just not the super one from Switzerland. Muslim factions won't have any Pikemen what-so-ever.**
