Hi
When i start a Battle all my Army is lined up and in neet rows.
Also Missile Units at front and Melee Units Behind etc etc.
But if i move my Army'even in Groups it all becomes Mishmash.
So 2 questions please.
How do i
A) Move my Army forward in the order and Formation they started in?
I know the Formation Button'but it takes ages to kick in'when Marching and i want my Army to stay how they were before they moved.
B) This one is more important to me.
How do i turn my whole army in the same Formation to me a New Threat etc?
So i have my whole Army the way i want it'but i'm being Flanked and want to turn the whole army 90 Degrees'but keep the same Formation.
I know the ALT Right Click'but only use that for single units.

I think this is correct.
A} Use ctr A key to group the entire army. Then click for them all to move forward. They should maintain formation upon arrival.
B} Use ctr A key to group the entire army. Then use alt-right mouse click in the new facing direction. The whole army should maintain formation and face in the new direction.

Might be wrong Jagger'but if it's what you mean for option B'it's no Good.
THis just makes the Whole army face the right way'but not move from the exact spots they were before.
So for example if i turn them all to face 90 Degrees Left'then all my Archers would then be on my Right Flank all one behind the other instead of a Big Long Row facing the enemy.
Key -
Archers >
Spearmen +
Cavalry &
So say i have 9 units
Starting from the Rear
& & & 3 Cavalry
+ + + 3 Spearmen
> > > 3 Archers
(ENEMY)
Now in my example they are facing the enemy.
And the enemy decides to flank them from the Right.
In your example is that the the units turn 90 degrees to face the new Direction'but don't move.

What i want is for my whole army to move and wheel to face the enemy in my desired formation.

Group your units, and then use alt right button

Also alt/left click and they arrive at destination maintaining facing
Army must be grouped to use alt/right click otherwise they end up staggered

I can now get them to wheel.
The facing/Moving is'nt smooth'but ok.
