I for one happen to believe that I know the correct answer but I'm curious what y'all think and how y'all come to your conclusions.

The Bishop or the altar boy?
I can unscramble that for you: it's the egg. :book:Quote:

Technically the egg.
It is genetically different from the chicken, and therefore 'first' of it's kind.
Well i am overall unsure what could come first, but I think there was a big scientific study and I think they determined the Chicken had to come first.
But this is really just spam.

Well - I have eggs for breakfast - chicken's for lunch, or later. So, egg. Murat also makes sense.

...that's all...no puns...move along, there's nothing to see here.:bobby:
If you are a creationist, the chicken.
Personally, the egg. But as Gregoshi said, not nessacerily a chicken.
Being an eggspert on the subject inclucks me to bring a 'sunny-side' to every discussion, not something 'hard-boiled' or be to 'runny' as it were.
I only wish that more people would recognize that 'a chick in the hand it worth two in the bush', but that may be eggzactly why I am here, crowing to the world.
(Please end my suffering... but be careful. Even if you chop us off, we can still run for another couple seconds)
Why do they never specify chicken egg? Fish and other creatures would have been laying eggs ages before chickens were around, and even for a creationist, most plants reproduce sexually, with both egg and sperm, so the egg is at least a day older than the chicken.

Joking aside:laugh4: I believe that neither came first b/c they taste fake.
Okay, Okay, I actually thought it was a chicken like creature but now I'm not so sure anymore b/c a chicken like creature would have to lay an egg that becomes a chicken, but how does the egg know how to become a chicken.
