Try to repair your faulty download

This guide is not supported by the EB TEAM i do this on my own

This is probably a way to repair your faulty download without re-download the whole file again

Note: a correct download should be 652.441 kb NO MORE NO LESS if it's less QP is hopefully your solution


STEP 1: You need a small program called Quickpar this can be found here: http://www.quickpar.org.uk/Download-0.9.1.0.htm

STEP 2: Just install this and leave it DO NOT CREATE YOUR OWN RECOVERY FILES!!!!!

STEP 3: download first this par2 file http://files.filefront.com/EB10exepa.../fileinfo.html
(EB10.exe.par2) put this in the same folder where your EB1.0 download is (EB10.exe)

STEP 4:doubleclick EB10.exe.par2 now should Quickpar start and check the EB10.exe file

STEP 5: if the file is really damaged it will tell you how many blocks you will need more

STEP 6: downloading Recovery files
if you need 1 recovery file download this file : EB10.exe.vol00+01.PAR2 http://files.filefront.com/EB10exevo.../fileinfo.html
if you need 2 recovery files download this file : EB10.exe.vol01+02.PAR2 http://files.filefront.com/EB10exevo.../fileinfo.html
if you need 4 recovery files download this file : EB10.exe.vol03+04.PAR2 http://files.filefront.com/EB10exevo.../fileinfo.html
if you need 6 recovery files download this file : EB10.exe.vol07+06.PAR2 http://files.filefront.com/EB10exevo.../fileinfo.html
if you need 11 recovery files download this file : EB10.exe.vol13+11.PAR2
if you need 21 recovery files download this file : EB10.exe.vol24+21.PAR2
if you need 41 recovery files download this file : EB10.exe.vol45+41.PAR2 http://files.filefront.com/EB10exevo.../fileinfo.html

STEP 7: put the recovery file(s) in the same folder as The download folder of Eb10.exe

TIP if you need 3 blocks you download 4 blocks

If you need 10 blocks just download 6+4
all together there are for the moment 13 blocks available (1+2+4+6)

STEP 8: doubleclick EB10.exe.par

STEP 9: QP will ask you to repair the files (sometimes it will ask you to rename EB10.exe don't worry let him do it it will
probably give it the same name again)

STEP 9: try to install EB1.0 again

STEP 10: if it works PLAY EB!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe I'm dump, but I can't find file which I need (31 blocks). Searching finds nothing. Can you give me link to this one?

Give me 30 minutes and then check this page again there will hopefully a link for 41 recovery files

All right, I have repaired file :2thumbsup:

Though installer won't work, but I simply extract all files in EB1 folder and they're ready to install!

I pretty sure that you need the installer but not sure enough

since you have been the first person that replied here i like to know if its working correct if not i close this thread
