Can 1 player control 2 factions in the Singleplayer mode?
I am not what one could call an expert player, so this question might appear obvious to some people in THE GUILD, but I would like to know if one player can control two factions in the single player mode.
While I was reading through threads and posts yesterday I noticed how one player used a "command (faction)" cheat in order to activate the mongols. Can this be done, and if it can, can the player control 2 or more factions at once?

Re: Can 1 player control 2 factions in the Singleplayer mode?
Yes, enable hotseat mode and choose the two factions.
Battles against each other will be auto-resolved, IIRC. But im still 90% sure you can fight the battles as the attacker.(eg you control England and France, you make France stack attack english stack, you can either auto-resolve or control the french)
Test it out, I did it as soon as the Hotseat code was released. (aka ver 1.0)

Re: Can 1 player control 2 factions in the Singleplayer mode?
The hotseat is completely different from the control faction cheat. For hotseat you need to add a section to your preferences file or something, you can find out exactly using a forum search. To control a different faction just type 'control_[faction name]' into the console, IIRC.
