Downloading Mods
Dear All:
Good afternoon from Canada!! I hope this finds you and yours well. As for me, I could complain...yadda, yadda, yadda.
I'm nearly at the end of my rope here. I go to download any mod I like into MedII, and I find that I never get it. All those lovely mods out there, and I'm just not getting them!!!! I've taken at least four or five cracks at Anno Domini and I'm still not getting it. Yes, I'm downloading to the "Mods" folder for the game.
If I'm downloading it to the wrong folder, would one of you kindly souls please let me know? Any ideas, suggestions and vague notions will be greatly appreciated.
Live long and prosper, take care and thank you kindly!!!!
Indy.

Re: Downloading Mods
You don't just download mods, most come as a .exe that needs to be run in order to install. And most don't install to the mod folder anyway.

Re: Downloading Mods
Dear Lusted:
Good evening from Canada!! I hope this finds you and yours well.
How do I run the installation program? There didn't seem to be any of that type of thing with Anno Domini. Yours was the easiest thing I ever downloaded.
Where do I get mod adding lessons? Many apologies for sounding dim.
Live long and prosper, take care and thank you kindly!!!!
Sincerely yours always,
Indy.

Re: Downloading Mods
Anno Domini might come as a .rar or .zip file in which case you'd need WinRar or WinAce to open them and then there should a readme file with installation instructions inside.

Dear Lusted:
Good morning from Canada!!! I hope this finds you and yours well.
Somebody suggested to me 7zip. I've never heard of WinAce, but I will check it out. Would it be a good idea if I PM the creator of Anno Domini and ask him for help? I really love the looks of his mod, not to mention the other ones I've seen.
Live long and prosper, take care and thank you kindly!!!!
Sincerely yours always,
Indy.
