I like 1, 2, 5 and 8 pretty well. Although 2 has some weird legs on one of the guys, almost seems the lightsaber has sliced into it.

Charge gets my vote this time.

Has to be 6, though yours are very nice too, Charge and Thaatu.

I just feel that they are too set up, whereas VM's captures the overall feel of EB better.

IMO #9 is simply brilliant - has a very epic/cinematic quality about it...

I'm not entirely sure "splat" deserved to be up there. It was more of a jokey screenshot than a genuine one - hence the lack of combat. Still, I'm not complaining. :2thumbsup:

I've voted for 5. Has a certain heroic element to it.

Anyway, voted #5. Whoever did that two-handed pike animation did a great job. I love how they hold there shield high when standing like that.

Question: Is the EB team just suddenly not allowing heavily edited pics anymore? Because you could have told us.

After much hmming and errring, it came down to no 9 for me, honourable mentions for 1, 4, and 6 :2thumbsup:

Why number 9? It's the moment of doom, the gate giving way, that sheep (okay, RAM) leering through the dust, the javelins flying. You can just imagine a moment of quiet before all hell breaks loose and the enemy come flooding in to ravish the temples and pillage the women. :bow:

It's very simple, and at the same time has some magnificence in it.

9. Gate Crashers. Best shot I've ever seen. I can imagine it as frontcover in every solid ancient world weekly magazine.

#9 is certainly artistic, and was undeniably well taken.. but I do have a problem with it. It doesn't really show anything remotely specific to EB. The characters are so blurred that it could just as easily have been taken in another mod, or even vanilla. The only things that are clear are the wall, gate, ram, and javelins. None of which are mod specific.

Not at all. There is nothing against edited pics (heavily or otherwise), so don't worry about it.

Well, except there's a selection process of course. The team members may or may not like heavily edited pictures. For this month the process became somewhat amputated though.

To all who didn't make it, use bribes like I did. It cost me three bulls to get mine selected, but the prestige is priceless.



Edit: "Gate Crashers" is probably the best shot I've ever seen from RTW!
