:beam: coolness
do you edit it with Photoshop?
Re: My first EB pictures.
Nope. I use ACDSee. Simple stuff not too complicated.
Re: My first EB pictures.
Nice:2thumbsup:
I have to say though, that IMHO, alot of them are over eddited. They no longer have sufficent detail, all of the pics look great in the thumbnails, but in my personal opinion, about half of them loose it when you view the larger edditons.

Yep. Being my first screens I ever took I tried different stuff on them. I also like the more detailed ones like the one with romans on the hill vs silver shields and elephantes and the rome vs carthie phalanx one. And yeah the one with the catas charging phalanx from the flank. And thanx for the commpliments guys. :)
Re: My first EB pictures.
Great Picture i most run in Screenshot compition of November you have my vote
Re: My first EB pictures.
Totally newbish question, but how do I change the format of screenshots from .tga to something such as .jpg, etc.?
Re: My first EB pictures.
Gorgeous pics Burakuku!
^Open them with paint then save as jpg. Or do what I do and take a batch of screen shots with FRAPS and convert them to jpg with a DDS converter.
Re: My first EB pictures.
Re: My first EB pictures.
Well, .tga isn't supported on my laptop, so I can't open it with paint. How do you use frapps and what's a DDS converter?
Re: My first EB pictures.
I thought fraps saved as jpeg. What does it save as, then?
Re: My first EB pictures.
Fantastic shots man,it's all about the angle :egypt: I play medieval, but perhaps i'll try puting a few screens from rome here, nevertheless you have my vote, keep it up like this :beam:

no, the free version of fraps saves in .bmp, which need to be converted to .jpg. Only the not free version saves in jpeg.
however RTW has a screenshot button whihc saves screeenshots in the .tga format.
In order to open this file format and to convert it to jpeg i suggest using irfan view. It is free, small and can open any picture format that exists.

EDIT: Disregard what I said. I'll uninstall it and just convert the .jpg to other things with Paint, or Picasa. Probably Picasa.
Re: My first EB pictures.

It's not actually a fight to the death, and isn't a serious competition at all. You should participate, unless you're afraid to lose. I've participated maybe four or five(?) times and have never won, and you won't see it affecting me (much). ~

My computer config: 1Gh RAM (had 512 'till 1.0 came out), old video card Gforce MX 440, 1.6 Pentium 4 processor. Now, how I take my screenshots: I chose the units in custom battle depending on what I want to do, I deploy them and then I wait for the clash. After that, when I see something that looks interesting I pause and search for different angles. I take the pics, I swich in ACDSee the format from .TGA to .JPG and I try to retouch them. I forgot to say that before the troops engage I get my video options to highest plus shadows and dust which makes my PC to run very slow (a sacrifice in the name of art).
As for the contest I might participate. It's not about losing or wining (not entirely) is just that I consider it to be a little subjective and not entirely fair. For example, this month some pictures which I considered to be quite good didn't make it to the final, no ideea on what grounds. Is just an opinion.
And thanx again for your kind words.
