This would be a great implementation as it would allow some variety to online play. Each player could pick any faction they wanted and play them as if it was a single player campaign, except every other faction controlled by a human player.
1) All battles Auto-resolved
2) 5 minute time limit for each turn (or a slider for time/turn which players could adjust)
3) Maybe balance issues with starting provinces/troops
4) Different sets of winning conditions at the end of the game era (assuming more than 1 player is left) eg. military might, landmass, income etc etc
5) No respawning factions
The idea just crossed my mind as a cool Risk style game (except way more advanced and interesting) which would be cool to play online occasionally if u didnt feel like another battle.
Im sure many many people have thought about this so any suggestions?
