Re: Tips for a possible AAR?
hmm..... i would just constantly follow ur unit throughout battles, ans stick w/ it.
Re: Tips for a possible AAR?
Yeah, I kinda planned on doing that. I also thought that I'd try to write it in a first person PoV, from the eyes of one of the survivors of the Battle of Sucum-Murgi. Here's why I choose to write about it:
Upon seeing how bad the initial debt would be, I downsized majorly, and kept only one unit of Caetranann, and some of the others. I combined the rest of the forces and decided Sucum-Murgi would be my first target. I had two generals(which look like Luso Elite Medium Cavalry), two units of Lusotanan Medium Spearmen(Scortamareva), One of Luso Light Infantry(Caetranann), one of Luso Light Spearmen(Gestikapoinann), and three of Luso Levy Skirmishers(Iovamann). The Light Infan. and the Levies each received the two rams for which the siege called. During the battle, the Caetranann were absolutely decimated. At the end of the battle, only 15 of the original 201 men were still fighting. They never broke. (Unit Scale is Huge, btw.) 51 Men were healed, so 66 left the battle alive. Now, I've sent them back to Oxstra and retrained them, and they're now awaiting re-deployment.
My plan is to follow them, the leader, Akuios(surname to be determined later*), to be exact, in every single battle they're in and take some screenshots of the brave fellows.
*= I think I might have people vote on his surname and other things... Good idea or no?

Re: Tips for a possible AAR?
Thanks. At the moment, however, I'm just waiting to see how many people think it would be a good idea...
Re: Tips for a possible AAR?
Its a great idea,I would be happy to read such an AAR.I remember how Teleklos posted a short AAR where he put all his units under AI assistance exept one.It was great but short.
Re: Tips for a possible AAR?
Thank you. While I would not take it to the extent of putting all other units on AI assistance, I would describe things from the viewpoint of one of the original survivors of the unit. Is there an easy way to rename a unit to keep up with them? Because I've already started making more Caetranann and losing the main focus would not be a good thing, now would it?
Re: Tips for a possible AAR?
This is a phenomenal idea. I'm almost thinking about a Lucius Vorenus / Titus Pullo type of understory to the Noble story going on above.
This could be especially good for a unit at the fore-front of the war for the Koele -Syria between the Ptolemies and Seleucids.
Similarly, I sometimes consider an AAR that follows one character.
