Problem with the download

Hey, I'm having problems getting EB onto my computer. First I download the installer, but then things go wrong. It takes 30-45 minutes for my computer to "setup" and extract the installation files, or something like that. Then, the download screen is different then what I've seen on the forums. It has the same initial starting screen, (the warrior guy on the side). It then goes straight into a screen which has the options "modify", "repair" and "remove". I've tried both modify and repair, and niether one fully downloads the game. I've run the validation tool, and I'm missing about 50,930 files. I've redone it from scratch 3 times, once from fileshack, twice from Filefront, same problem with all three. Are these corrupted downloads? If so, where can I get a good one?

Try downloading the torrent version, it runs a check to make sure that files are not corrupted after completion (of course, you'll need a torrent client).

I suggest you choose the "Remove" option. Then run it once more and the regular thing should show up. Alternatively, you can use 7-zip to extract the files manually, then you'll have to create the shortcut yourself.
