Forgive me if this has been mentioned before, but it seems that garrisoning prince or king in a particular province's fort (or what have you) will influence the quality of generals produced there. In other words, a high acumen prince will cause all units produced there to have high acumen generals.
Playing as the Danes, i had a prince of acumen = 6 garrisoned in Denmark. Theeafter, each genreal produced was at least of acumen = 4.
Can anyone verify this?
Also, is it yet common knowledge that trading posts, chancellaries, etc. increase the acumen of generals produced in the province? Or am i imagining that as well?

cant confirm this but why is is that all my highland clansmen have high acumen?

I put my king in the fortress and tried it out and got some 3-4 acumens. Not bad, but nothing spectacular as 4 acumens are aplenty in all my games. 5 and above (discounting princes) are rare.
Lately I've also been producing units (5-6 in a row) with 2-3 stars on them. I wonder if new units' stats are affected by buildings/ruler/governor.

I didnt see it in manual, did anyone else?
