Have just unstalled EB81a. Have played a few moves and it seems to be working fine. I have just noticed some stuff in various AARs about de-activating or activating this script and changing it so i can use 4 turns per year. Is this for .81a or is it for earlier versions of the mod. If it is necessary how is it done? HELP!
When you start a game click on a city and your adviser should come up in the corner, click the "show me how" button and the script will be activated, this gives you 4 turns per year and all sorts of assorted goodness. Make sure to do this every time you load your game up.
You should really get 1.0 by the way.
Thanks for the advice. I will switch to EB1.0. At the moment i am just trying to get to grips with the game concepts. Seems excellent, though no factions seem to have much money.
Its probably a good idea to use the Romani or Carthage in your first game as they have the easiest time money wise in the first few turns. You have the right idea reading AARs, there are a few faction specific guides in there too.
