Right, bought the game recently (Just Rome: Total War, No Expansions)
First of all people keep saying to get the cheat console up you need to
press ~ button but I have UK keyboard and it seems to be the button under
Escape. Then when I type in (for example) add_money 20000
Nothing happens!
Downloaded patch 1.3 and installed it and still the same!
Need to get the cheats because I'm crap at running my cities and I'm always in debt!
Help me I'm desperate!
I guess you need 1.5 patch. In 1.0 (1.3 as well, but not sure) this cheat can be applied only once, you need to restart game for another one. Plus money increased from 20k to 40k.
What console says? If nothing it should be applied, if something like not recognized, then ^^
I believe you can do any cheat as many times as you want. :book:
that Cheat only works once on the earlier versions. On the 1.5 it does work as much as your want but it only seems to work at the 40000 mark no more no less for me.
Open the shell
type: add_money 40000
press: Enter
That should work
