In game, no. The only to change a characters name (that I know of) is to change it in the descr_strat.
I wasn't aware you could even change City Names...how is this done?
@tapanojum You will break the script if you rename cities.
in the city status(construct or recruit or retrain) interface just click its name on the right top then you can type a new name.Quote:

What if you change the city's name to a reform city? That would be an interesting way of munkying with the game.
The AOR of the city wouldn't have any units that were enabled by the reform, so it would just add a worthless building to the town.Quote:

Well, then the script should resume working properly from that point on. But there's no telling what damage has been caused in the meantime.
