Increadible! Great news to hear there will be an upcoming Ptolemaic AAR.. and it's even Chirurgeon. :)
Subscribed. And good to see you're writing an AAR again.
Yours,
Treverer
Oh my god, chirurgeon, how dare you choose the worst rival of my favourite faction for your new game? Now I'm torn apart by one side of me thinking "It's Chirurgeon the Great storyteller, so be happy, and the other side thinking "omglolsist4luv4z11!!11eleventeen". Just kidding:laugh4:
Hehe, I was thinking about doing a ptolemaic aar simply because we never see any, and I have a good campaign going with them....that being said, I hardly have time for my succession game.
I am very much looking forward to more of your work though. :applause:
Bootsiuv
hey all I hope to have the introduction up in a little while. Thanks for the enthusiastic responses.
Excellent update!!! Good to have you back Chirurgeon.

Salute, Chirurgeon.
Glad to read your Ptolemaic AAR. Have .pdf copy of your previous masterpiece 'TSOA' and `ve ongoing Qarthadast campaign inspired.
Please tell us your settings\minimods\BI\any manual modi
Pah, stealing the body of Alexander the Great and then claiming that he chose to rest in Egypt! Treacherous, sister-loving, body-stealing incestoual freaks! Zeus shall smite them and end their unrightious existence!
Enough ranting, I wish you good luck Chirurgeon:2thumbsup:
oh god, i hate the ptolemaioi/egyptians so much but i love chirugeon's AARs so much more.....:dizzy2:
@ Basileus Seleukia:
Your insults do not hold weight with me. I have no respect for one who would murder their leader. Perhaps you should march here and claim the body for yourself. If it is truly your destiny to have Alexander returned to Babylon. Although I do recall the last time you attempted this...well I wont bring up that smarting defeat again. Alexander stays in Egypt. Besides..My sister is hot
I keep hearing of my Qarthadast campaign on .pdf. I wouldnt mind getting that myself :) I use huge armies/minimal UI/banners off/arrows off. Just the regular rome.exe. Good to hear your having fun with the Qarthadast campaign.Quote:

Will you write a history like your Roman AAR, or will you opt for the 1st person perspective of your Qarthadastim one? Or perhaps you'll surprise us with a completely different narrative style? I can't wait for this AAR!
BTW: What's with only 3 stars on the pic on your first post? Surely you don't believe this AAR will only be a 3-star experience? Lol!
I will be mixing history with roleplaying. I will be using the journal format mainly because of the intimacy of the characters. It will be very similar to the Sands of Africa. I am jealous you went to England. I hope to go there one day. I went to France and Spain last summer. Truly amazing. I have family in town but I am working on Chapter I. Thanks for following the AAR. I havent had the time to write with the same feverous pitch as my last AAR, So the chapters will be slower in coming.Quote:

Plus, there are plenty of other great AARs around, like MAA's Makedonian AAR. Well, I am looking forward to reading this...
