Some odd buildings, and odd descriptions
This hasn't caused a CTB, but thought I'd report it, since the building descriptions are along the lines of "Warning! This short baseline description should never appear on screen! Please report this immediately."
That said, the facts: Playing a Romani campaign, and somewhere around 230 B.C., I capture Oxtraca. In the post-capture city examination, a Bardic Circle is discovered, with roughly the above description.
Around the same time, Tuat is captured. In the survey of the city, a building called "Victory" is discovered... with the above description.
I have a saved game for each, made when I first noticed the buildings... hasn't seemed to cause any problems though. Are the development folks still interested in errors like this?
Re: Some odd buildings, and odd descriptions
Yes, we're interested in it, thanks :2thumbsup:. The Tuat thing is okay, just leave the building as is. The bardic circle in Oxtraca however sounds like a bug.
Re: Some odd buildings, and odd descriptions
Hm... guess this is awhile ago now, afraid I've been away for a bit. Do you folks need the saved game, or anything other information?
Re: Some odd buildings, and odd descriptions
No, I think we've got the information we need, thanks :2thumbsup:. I'm not sure if it has been fixed yet though. As far as I have seen the description is yet to be made, but I haven't been very active since then either. If the description is not made, we will probably disable the building for the faction.
Re: Some odd buildings, and odd descriptions
The Oxtraca problem was fixed. Don't worry it's just the tavern upgrade that was forgotten for the Lusitans.
The quickest fix is to remove spain's ability to build Bardic Circles in EDB...
Re: Some odd buildings, and odd descriptions
Another building sans description I found was the Pontic wrestling / barbarian gymnasion.
