Still, overall, this would give her campaign a slight sympathy boost, although only very temporary. If it were staged, it would have been better timing to put it a few days before the actual elections.
If he was just some attention seeking nut, she probably won't get as much sympathy as if he were anti-Hillary.
At least everyone's safe, it sounds like.
