Watchtower-Bug?

Hello everyone!

I ve got a problem with the watchtowers. Some of them I ve build don't show the surrounding area. Others do. And others show the surrounding area first, but after a while they dont do this anymore!

Is this a bug? Is there anything I can do? Can towers be removed from the map (destroyed/deleted)???

if a slave army 'captures' ie stands next to a watchtower it will stop showing you the view. If you use BI.exe slave(rebel) armies will go automatically to watchtowers, which is useful to get them off roads. If you build more than you need you'll have some left without rebels that can view area.

Yeah, rebels will often sit on your watchtowers making them not show you anything.

For ones that don't show you anything ever, that may be because there is landscape blocking the view, even if it doesn't look like it. I've also found that if you build a tower within a few spaces of the edge of the map, it simply can't work.

Oh. I wondered why my watchtower in Turdulia doesn't work. That must be the answer, thx.
