Stupid question

It must sound stupid but how i cant take screens during the game? I press always Impr Paint in battles but i dunno in which directory are the files of my screens.

Im sorry for my really bad english. :wall:

Press Print Screen to take the shot, and the game automatically saves it into a folder called tgas in the directory where you installed EB.

EDIT: And there's people with much worse English around, namely Malik of Sindh. Yous ee gishes... :laugh4:

How to open or change extension of tga files?

Download Irfanview, it's free and lets you open most image types, just do a search on Google.

When you have opened it in irfanview click save as and replace the .tga on the end with .jpg to be able to use it as desktop background.

Download FRAPS ( you may have to buy the full verion )

or press print-scrin and paste the pic into "Paint" program.:laugh4:

Admetos just because you have provided a solution it doesn't mean that's automatically the best, the guy offered an alternative that's all.

soynegro, both Admetos' and Commilitone's answers are appropriate, although personally I would reccomend FRAPS because of its applications outside of EB/RTW.

I usually push [Print], go to desktop and paste it into GIMP or Paint.

Sorry to bring this thread back, but how do you remove the toolbar at the bottom of the battle screen(the one with the minimap, unit cards, formation options, etc.)?

It's just annoying that whenever I take a screenshot, that big toolbar's occupying about a large amount of the picture itself. I think I've seen other screens where it's completely gone...

There is an option in the EB/preferences/preferences.txt that is something like "MINIMUL_UI", change that the TRUE and you'll get less UI on the battlemap.
