Destroying upgrades
Does anyone know if you can "damage" a structure down to an earlier version rather than destroy it completely?
It annoys me when i get like 100 florrins for destroying a castle because it had curtain walls upgrade. I'd also like to be able to downgrade from an Armourers Workshop back to an Armorer sometimes (like when I'm going into the desert for example). You spend 400 on the basic shop, then another 600 on the upgrade, but when you destroy it you lose both but only get 300 back. Grrr.

Re: Destroying upgrades
I don't believe you can only "partially destroy" buildings, no. You can either keep the building, or it gets wiped out entirely. It might be modded so that you could do this, but I still have my doubts about even that.

Re: Destroying upgrades
The answer is selective upgrade. I don't build everything and upgrade everything on each province.

Re: Destroying upgrades
buildings are auto downgraded when provinces are lost and taken. This is the only way this can occur IIRC. You cannot downgrade a building in any other way as demolishing it from the review panel will simply remove the whole thing.

Re: Destroying upgrades
theres gotta be a way to mod it in there somehow using the same stuff as conquering provinces in the destroying buildings thing (<-------- useless modder here)
