Mounting Units?
I've had a look at the tutorial for dismounting units, but I can't get the process to work in reverse.

One thing I don't understand is when dismounting a unit they add dismounted into the name of the units mesh file. There's not a seperate dismounted model for every mounted unit is there? How then would I mount a unit? Do I add 'mounted' in place of dismounted? I did the other steps such as adding 'Horse' in place of 'None'.
In-game, my units work, don't cause any CTD's or anything, but their spears are floating a couple of feet above and to the right of their heads. Any ideas what I'm missing here?

Is there anyway of using an infantry mesh and getting it to work on a horse without needing to edit in Milkshape or 3dsMax?

my problem is opposite i want to find a way to dismount shieldless knights so i can turn them into pikemen using their lances for the pikes. if i can ever get them dismounted all i should have to do is give them a pikemen units animation and it should work.
i just need to find a way to dismount them.
