Which faction should I play as my next campaign?

Please help me decide which of these factions I should play for my next campaign! :2thumbsup:

Pontos
Hayasdan
Saka
Saba
Pahlav
Sweboz
Lusotannan
Sauromatae

I'd go with the Pahlava. I say that because that's the faction i'm looking forward to playing a campaign with as soon as i finish a campaign with my beloved KH one of these days. Not that i'll be finishing that anytime soon. I envy some of you guys who are able to complete campaigns with several factions. I've been trying to complete a campaign with the KH since .81 with no luck..Started over with 1.0 and 1.1 will probably be here before i even get a chance to sniff 230BC. Damn job and kids!!...~:mecry:

Anyhow, i'd go with the Pahlava, their cavalry force is just sick and since i've always been a heavy infantry type of player...I would like a very different playing style and experience in my next campaign. Whenever....that'll be.

I'd be Pahlava too. They were a suprise! I really enjoyed them.

Thanks, they are indeed fun to play. Almost no income and really difficult to get enough troops to hold anything I capture, I've constantly been prepared for retreating on all my fronts. One drive down into southeast AS had to be cancelled and one settlement there given up, but so far I haven't lost any more settlements than that (except one bribed), but am constantly worried about doing so as I haven't got enough troops for anything but a crazy offensive everywhere. I managed to deal a severe blow to the saka, however, after taking one of their settlements and beating back 4 assaults, 3 of them in the same turn, unfortunately it forced me to abandon the retraining house rule :shrug: Exterminating Persepolis saved my *** to the north money-wise, but the money got spended in the coming few turns, and my southern army is stuck in Persepolis since I couldn't get any garrison troops there (due to seleucid diplomats bribing some of them, and money being in shortage)... Wow! Even after controlling some 10 settlements, I still need to be constantly worried about a turning point in which the campaign will turn into defeat. Hopefully I can arrive at Babylon before the Seleucid counter-attacks get too difficult...

Now that sounds like fun. Gotta love a campaign where it seems your just holding on by a mere thread and one wrong move....and the whole thing collapses. Once you get your economy going a little and are able to recruit some of the sick cavalry at your disposal...your enemies will flee from your wrath :)
