From others, I got a $10 gift card, a bunch of candy, some Chinese things and a 17th century Italian globe my friend found at the Antique Mall for like $10...

Yeah there's always bills to pay. Damn mortgages and gas and electricity bills. And then there's bloody council tax!! In fact, tomorrow I have to pay my car tax, which is £110 for 6 months. That's roughly $220 for you yanks.

Horst Nordfink, funny how car tax always falls on the New Year when you can least afford it!

Though I did get the "Fallout Collection" from my daughter so two years of EB will be broken by a few weeks trip down nuclear memory lane.

bunch of candy...which my son ate, clothes, and A DAY OFF (the best gift....,on which, after the watching of the child opening his presents, i procceeded directly to my PC and loaded up EB)

But sometimes it can be joyfull on Christmas: I got a ceasfire with the tax authorities on 22nd (but did not admit to trade rights or alliance). And no bills, letteres from other authorities, lawyers and the like, that's really a gift.
