How to recruit Greek Firethrowers?

What buildings are required to recruit greek firethrowers? I don't see them in the building browser. I have Constantinople, yet they are not available for recruiting.

Also, when does the Venetian crusade tend to show up?

you need a citidel and the top archery range building
you cant train them form constantinople itself

You'll know it ahead of time when the Venetians show up. You'll get event messages about them sacking cities, and being denounced by the Pope (or something along those lines). Then you'll have a few turns prior to prepare.
