But this isn't sex vs love, they aren't mutally exclusive. I have had sex with many people I didn't love, doesnt make the sex any better or worse for me. But masturbation is an option whatever relationship you are or aren't in. I was just wondering if people would be as honest in this poll as they have insinuated already.

More than enough masturbation for a lifetime when I was a teenager. Deprived myself of sex trying to be a "nice guy" and not have sex with women (even if they wanted to) just to ... be a "nice guy", way too long. Deprived myself of sex being loyal to girls, waiting for them, who had no loyalty to me, for too long.
If I'm horny, I get a girl over. If no one is available (and even if they are sometimes) I go out, meet at least one woman, insta-date or set up a date. I'm always increasing my sexual circle, hopefully one day I'll meet one woman who's able to stay the course. No way I'm ever masturbaing again.

No way my hand can compete with that. I probably couldn't bring myself to masturbate unless I hadn't had sex for a month, even then I'd refrain and I'd much prefer to take great delight in ravaging the next woman.
I'm never without, unless I have to do other things, but even then you can convert a lunch break into a quickie break.
Masturbation is cold and emotionless, but it helps fill the void between rounds with your partner. Sex is much more emotionally involved, but naturally requires (at least) one other person.
