Macedonian and Epeirote recruitment
I was playing a Epeirote campaign and decided to look in the recruitment viewer to where I could recruit Chaonian Agema(sp?). Looking through the recruitment viewer i noticed to things. 1. Epeiros can't recruit thracian peltast. They can only hire them as mercenaries. But they can recruit Thracian medium and light calvary, Thracian Light Spearmen , and triballi infantry. I then decided to take a look at what my enemies (Macedonians) could recruit. I was shocked to see that even though they can recruit Thureophoroi they can't recruit Thorakitai but Epeiros and the KH can. Are there any plans in the Future to make Thorakitai recruitable for macedon Thraikian Peltast recruitable for epeiros?

You can't recruit Thorakitai for the Makedones because the Thorakitai was a specially Greek innovation. The Makedones have their own 'imitation legionaries' already in the form of their assault infantry and hypaspistai. As to the Thraikian peltasts, I'm wondering too. Figure this: the Arverni can recruit Rhomphaiaphoroi but can't recruit the 'lowly' Thraikian Peltast... Just as strange as the Epeirotes being able to recruit Prodromoi.

I find that especially odd since every other Diadochi faction (AS, Ptolies, Epeiros, Baktria) and the KH can recruit them. Are you saying that macedonia didn't have a substantial greek population?

AFAIK there is no mention of Macedonia using them.... I think that they're only mentioned in the Achaean League and in the armies of the Arche Seleukia, so i dunno why epeiros and ptolys have them(although the epiros thorakitai can't be recruited)

Yes but Baktria is a par of seleucia so.... it's the same
