A way to make your soldiers move in an orderly fashion?
I haven't been playing MTW long, i never even knew it existed until i bought Rome a few years ago but i've spent about 12 hours all in all playing, it's a great game.
Anyhow, is there a way to make grouped armies move in an orderly fashion? I try clicking ahead of them right in the center of their formation but they still end up turning and molding themselves into completely illogical positions.
Is there like a button i can press to make them march forward orderly?
Thanks.

Have you tried Alt + Click?

If you want them to maintain the same relative positions and facing, then use alt-left click. Also be aware that it helps if all units are standing at the point you issue the command - if any are still marching, they will tend to end up in odd positions. If you want to be really sure your formation arrives in the same configuration as it set off, you can set it to "hold position" (ie "H" key), but remember you may want to put your missiles back to skirmish ("S") and your swords back to engage at will ("E") after they've taken up the new positions.
