CTD when battle is about to start

I play as Rome, it's 127 BC and I have the Marian reforms. When I pres the end turn button I first get attacked by the Ptolemaioi and then by the Sweboz, both these battles work fine but after that I get attacked by Baktria and when I press the 'Fight battle on battle map' button it CTDs.

The army that attacks me consists of a family member, eastern skirmishers, caucasian archers, persian archers, scythian foot archers, caucasian spearmen, freed slaves, an hellenic native phalanx, median medium cavalry, parthian spearmen, dahae riders and an hellenic medium phalanx. They attack me at the first bridge noth of Kallatis on the road to Olbia (I hold the bridge). If I attack them before ending the turn every thing works fine.

I have applied all the permanent patches.

thanks for the information, if play the battle are all enemy units visible or do some of them disappear if you zoom out?

As far as I can see all units are visible at all zoom levels.

Possibly the map tile is bad, like the spot SW of Alexandria. I recall one other crash concerning a bridge in Anatolia.
