Hi, I'm french thus I speak to you through a converter.


I am member of the clan total war "Diadoques" and with another member we began a mod for Rome total war having for subject the universe of warhammer 40k.

We have done a part of the interface, but we look for a modeller 3D.

The game would resume 7 races (possibly tyranides) of dawn of war but in the system of game of Rome total war.

The mod stagnates for several months but I very want to continue it.

Hi, um, I'm not a modeller I'm afraid but I'll do my best to give advice.

First piece of advice when modding with no modeller; look round for others who have made even vaguely fantasy mods or units;
- I think one Lord of the Rings mod had tanks included as a joke, you could ask for permission to use them
- also a user called Bwian made a robot wars type mod which might be of some use,
- and on Total War Center (http://www.twcenter.net/forums/index.php) there is a user called Dalegionary who made some WWII troops you could convert into cadians.

Trouver un modeller 3d est tres difficile.
Mais le part le plus difficile est de trouver un animateur 3d, pour faire les animations 3d pour chaqun model, car aucun model de RTW a les animattions necessaires pour l' alteration totalle que "Dawn total war" en a besoin.

Ah okey, as for the animations you want to say the shootings of bullets and shells for example? For it I thought of asking the moddeller of napoleonic total war. but at first I shall have wanted to modify the units to create that of hand-to-hand fight.

For maps, a French have propose its help.

If you know free moddeller could you ask them the question?

Ce sera difficile car les animations des missile sont trop lentes - essayent de charger vers le haut de deux armis avec des brides (ou des arbalètes de BI) et ce sera comment les balles fonctionnent. Lentement. Les unités volantes en outre sont impossibles à faire. Si vous pouvez lire ceci, tres bien, si pas, désolé.
