How do I remove the "turn limit" and the "50 province"?
Hello everyone,
I apologize in advance if I'm asking something that's already been answered elsewhere in the Forum, but I really need this information and I haven't been able to find it anywhere.
My problem is:
I'd love to end my RTW campaign by conquering ALL of the available provinces. Yes, I want to rule the world. The WHOLE of it. :laugh4:
Is there some "preference" I can edit to bypass the 50 provinces limit and the "number of turns" limit?
What about Barbarian Invasion? Can I bypass the provinces and turns limits there too? How?
Thank You in advance for Your time and attention,
Wade

I can't imagine why would you have to do that, as you can continue the game even after you have fulfilled the victory conditions. Nothing is stopping you from taking all map

If you are positive that you want to do this even with the above advice, check out the modding questions/tutorials. It should be answered there.

Yep, you can continue campaign after fullfilling victory conditions, and for extending end date go to Data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign\descr_strat.txt
Quote:
start_date -270 summer
end_date 14 summer
Make it as large as you want ;)

Moved to Modding Questions :burnout:

You will have to modify descr_win_conditions.txt to do that. Same folder as descr_strat, and pretty easy to understand.

I know this hasn't been mentioned but if you're talking about a campaign already in progress, then changing the end date (and possibly the win conditions) will only take effect on a new campaign and not on an existing one.

I wasn't aware that it's already possible without modifying the data in the mentioned folders!
Anyway, thanks to everyone for the fast and complete replies!
