Is there a a way to turn off the "fog of war"

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.:help:

All you have to do is either edit the preferences file, or 1000x easier:

When you are in your campaign, press the ~ button and type in toggle_fow. This allows you to turn it on and off when ever you need it.
