Nice i like the Admiral part but do you think they will have some sort of admiral ship like a generals bodyguard?

I hope they include a strike your colors option, you can't always win them all.

I wonder if there will be fire ship units, that are sent in to disrupt enemy formations...

That might be the "different" morale system that was hinted at, ships that are being battered surrendering to the Enemy. I think it would be better to give individual ships a chance to do that but leave it out of the players control, otherwise the vast majority of players would just nail their colours to the mast...
