Questions on the Pheraspidai( for EB makers who specialize with Greek factions)
:help:
I've been playing as Arche Seleukeia for some time, and one of my favorite unts are the Pheraspidai: but I have looked in many sources and was unable to find any information on them( Arrian, Diodoros, etc); where were you able to get information on that unit type? and is it available to the public? and if it was from the two sources was what yo read in greek?:help: :help:
Re: Questions on the Pheraspidai( for EB makers who specialize with Greek factions)
it represents an alternate usage of other troops types in the game, outfitting guys who'd otherwise fight as hoplites or phalangites to serve in an assault role, since RTW only lets troops fight in one setup. EB designers put the name together years ago when trying to find something suitable to name them.

so, what exactly does 'pheraspides' mean? like 'pezhetairoi' = foot companions, so what is the composite word for 'pheraspidai'?
